We are a small family-owned and operated orchard and nursery located in the remote high mountains of Ashe County, North Carolina. We specialize in the collection and propagation of antique and heirloom apple varieties of the Appalachian Mountains as well as many other apple varieties of the world. We seek to preserve these old varieties in the hope that others may appreciate the incredible diversity of apples that once was a part of the cultural heritage of the Appalachian region.

Our goal is to make these rare and unique apples once again widely available to the public. This website is a representation of our work which we hope will stimulate your interest in the preservation of heirloom apples. By purchasing and planting these old apple varieties, you will be helping to ensure their continued existence for generations to come.
